The Son is eternally begotten of the Father. The Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father.
What is the Holy Spirit’s relationship to the Son?
Many evangelical and independent Christian sects assert, “It’s not baptism that saves you…but faith alone. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change.”
There is a problem with this interpretation.
Why should Catholicism hard? After all, didn't Christ say his yoke is easy and his burden light? The short answer is...you were made for more. You were made to carry a cross, and that requires self-discipline and self-mastery. Catholicism can seem hard because following Christ necessarily involves self-denial, sometimes in the extreme.
