"By hanging him on a tree"

God commands them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Born without the stain of sin, they possessed the grace sufficient to withstand. But the temptation overcame them, and they ate of it.
This original sin caused the world to fall. That is, eating the fruit of a tree which God forbade.
Acts 10:39
39 “We are witnesses to everything he did in the Jewish countryside and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree…”
John 6:
53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.”
54 “Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
55 “For my flesh is real food, and my blood is real drink.”
56 “Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me, and I dwell in him.”
Do you see it?
By eating the fruit of the tree which God forbade, mankind fell from grace. So, by eating the fruit of the tree which God commands, mankind is restored.
Where may we receive the restoring fruit of this glorious tree?
It is the fruit of that tree — the body and blood of Christ — by which we receive the grace sufficient to withstand. Yet again, like they, we disobey.
But the tree bears abundantly, nourishing and strengthening the souls of we who partake.
